Objective: Ensure universal access to affordable, sustainable, and hygienic menstrual products and information in Kassanda District.

Strategies:

  • Community-Led Needs Assessment: Conduct participatory assessments to identify specific MHH needs and challenges within target communities.

  • Sustainable Menstrual Product Production and Distribution: Establish a local production unit for reusable sanitary pads, promote the use of sustainable materials, and develop a distribution network.

  • Comprehensive MHH Education: Develop and disseminate age-appropriate educational materials, conduct community sensitization workshops, and train health workers and teachers.

  • Male Engagement: Actively involve men and boys in MHH promotion through awareness campaigns, father-daughter dialogues, and male-only sessions.

School-Based MHH Programs: Implement school-based MHH programs, including menstrual hygiene kits, education, and the establishment of hygienic sanitation facilities.
